EXPOSED AUTUMN — OWL
$39.90
The watcher of the darker season.
The owl is associated with night, silence and the ability to notice what others miss. Its feathers create a soft exterior around a highly precise biological structure.
OWL removes colour and surface texture, presenting the subject through the visual language of medical imaging. The familiar bird becomes quieter, more anatomical and more mysterious.
Produced on authentic medical imaging film, the image shifts between dense black and luminous pale detail as surrounding light changes.
