EXPOSED AUTUMN — PINECONE
$39.90
Natural engineering built one scale at a time.
A pinecone is a compact system of repetition: overlapping scales arranged with remarkable order around a central form.
PINECONE removes the familiar woody surface and translates the object into the visual language of medical imaging, emphasizing pattern, density and structure rather than colour.
Printed on authentic medical imaging film, the piece has a strong graphic character while becoming more translucent and detailed when light passes through it.
