Can EXPOSED artworks be displayed on a wall?
Yes. EXPOSED works can be framed, float-mounted or presented in a backlit lightbox.
What is the best way to frame them?
We recommend a simple gallery-style frame with acrylic or glass protection. UV-protective glazing is ideal for long-term display.
Can they be displayed without a frame?
Yes, but framing offers better protection against scratches, bending, dust and handling damage.
Can they be used in a lightbox?
Yes. Medical imaging film is especially effective when backlit. Use a low-heat LED light source and avoid excessive heat.
Should they be kept out of sunlight?
Yes. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as strong UV exposure can gradually affect the film and image.
How should the artwork be cleaned?
Clean the outer frame or glazing with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid using chemicals directly on the film.
How should the film itself be handled?
Handle carefully with clean, dry hands, preferably by the edges. Avoid bending, folding or scratching the surface.
What conditions should be avoided?
Avoid high humidity, excessive heat, water exposure and direct sunlight.
How should an EXPOSED artwork be stored?
Store it flat in its protective archival sleeve, in a cool, dry and dark environment.

Do EXPOSED artworks contain radiation?
No. EXPOSED artworks are not radioactive and do not emit ionizing radiation.
In traditional X-ray imaging, ionizing radiation is used when an image is captured. It is not stored in the resulting image or film. EXPOSED artworks are created digitally and produced on authentic medical imaging film using a dry laser imaging process. The artworks are not exposed to X-rays or ionizing radiation as part of our production process.
