EXPOSED CHRISTMAS — GIFT

The surface exists to hide what matters.

A wrapped gift may be the clearest expression of concealment in Christmas culture: the outside is deliberately designed to prevent us from seeing what is inside.

GIFT turns that logic around. Presented through the visual language of medical imaging, the package becomes an object to be examined rather than opened, emphasizing structure, edges and the suggestion of hidden contents.

Printed on authentic medical imaging film, the work shifts between graphic density and translucency as ambient light changes around it.
